# Data and deletion

> What data MMW stores, for how long, how forget differs from deleting your account, and how to request deletion.

On this page you will learn:

1. what data MMW stores about you and your memory;
2. how long logs, correspondence and backups are kept;
3. how to delete a single record, a source, session history or your whole account.

This page is a summary. The binding text is the [Privacy Policy](https://mmwhub.tech/privacy.html).

## What is stored

| Data | Where it comes from | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email and username | Sign-up | Sign-in, notices, support |
| IP address, browser, OS, request time | Using the site and the account | Security, abuse investigation |
| Cookies | Signing in to the account | Keeping you signed in |
| API key hashes and usage statistics | Issuing keys and making calls | Key checks, quotas |
| Payment status | Our payment processor | Your plan; full card details are not received or stored |
| Memory records | Only what your agent saved via `remember`, or the Telegram bot at your request | The memory itself |
| Claude Code and Codex session history | Only after your consent in the terminal (`mmw-agent consent`) | Keeping history per your plan |

MMW does not read your conversations with an assistant: the server receives only what the assistant sends to MMW tools at your request. Secrets are removed from records and sessions before storage.

To analyze new records (links, marking outdated ones) and to phrase Telegram bot answers, MMW uses a language model provider: it receives the record text, or a question plus up to three matching records. Do not store personal data of other people in memory if you do not want it processed this way.

## Retention

| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Memory records | Until you delete them or while the account exists |
| Session history | Per plan: Free 7 days, Starter 30 days, Pro 90 days, Enterprise full history |
| Account action log (IP, browser, time and type of request, email at sign-in) | 3 years, then deleted automatically |
| Web server logs | 1 year, then deleted automatically |
| Support correspondence: emails to and from support@mmwhub.tech, Telegram support chat, service emails | 3 years, then deleted automatically |
| Backups | The last 7 nightly copies |

Passwords, keys and record content are never written to logs.

## Ways to delete

| What | How | Result |
|---|---|---|
| One record | The agent calls `forget` with `memory_id` | The record disappears from search along with its graph links; the fact of deletion is kept for audit |
| All records of one source | `forget` with `source_id` | The same for every record of that source |
| Your latest Telegram note | `/undo` in the bot | The last saved record is undone |
| Session history uploads | `mmw-agent revoke` in the terminal | The agent stops uploading sessions |
| Your whole account and personal data | Email support@mmwhub.tech | Erased from active databases within 10 business days |

### forget: delete a record

Ask your agent:

```text
Delete the MMW record about deploying staging via app-staging — we switched to another method.
```

The agent finds the record with `search` and calls `forget`. `forget` is a soft delete: the record is no longer found and no longer takes part in relations, but a marker that it was deleted remains. You can delete only records you can see. See [forget](/reference/forget/).

If a fact has changed rather than become obsolete, you do not have to delete the old record: save a new one with the same `fact_key`. The old version stays and is marked, and the agent sees both. See [Conflicts and summaries](/memory/conflicts-and-summaries/).

### Delete your account

1. Email **support@mmwhub.tech** from the address your account is registered with. Subject: "Account deletion" or "Consent withdrawal".

2. We erase your data from active databases within 10 business days of receiving the request. Copies in backups disappear when those backups expire, within seven days after that.

3. Security logs (account actions, web server logs) and support correspondence are kept separately and deleted automatically on their own schedules — see the table above.

Account deletion cannot be undone. Knowledge you added to an organization belongs to that organization: it stays there under the organization's rules, for example it is handed to a recipient on offboarding.

## Your rights

By writing to support@mmwhub.tech you can:

- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct, restrict or delete inaccurate or outdated data;
- receive a copy of your data;
- withdraw consent at any time; for session history, also with `mmw-agent revoke`.
