MMW is memory that your AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex and others) share across conversations. The assistant saves facts, decisions and agreements, and in the next session it finds them on its own, even if you switched models, clients or computers.

On this page you will learn what MMW does, how it differs from the memory built into assistants, and where to start.

The problem MMW solves

Every new assistant session starts from a blank slate. You explain again how the project is set up, which decisions were already made and why “we don’t do it that way”. Built-in assistant memory is tied to one product and one account, does not show where a fact came from, and cannot share knowledge between people on a team.

MMW keeps memory outside the model: one memory for all your assistants, a source attached to every fact, and access rules for your team.

What it does

Memory over MCP

The remember, search, forget and validate_memory tools follow the standard Model Context Protocol and work in any MCP client.

A source for every fact

Records keep a source_id, a hash and a revision of their source. When the document changes, the record is marked as outdated (stale).

Conflicts stay visible

Two records with the same fact key and different content get the conflict status. Nothing is silently overwritten.

Local agent and history

mmw-agent connects memory to Claude Code and Codex and, only with your consent, uploads session history. Secrets are removed before anything leaves your machine.

Organizations

Units, roles, record visibility, invitations, knowledge handover when someone leaves, contractors with an access term, and an audit log.

Telegram bot

Save notes and query your memory straight from Telegram. Your assistants see the same records.

What MMW is not

It does not read your conversations on its own. Memory contains only what an assistant saved with remember, plus the sessions you explicitly allowed to upload.
It does not store secrets. Keys, tokens and passwords are replaced with placeholders before saving (Memory Guard).
It does not claim a fact is true. MMW shows where a record came from and what its status is; deciding whether to trust it stays with the agent and the person.

Where it runs

Data is stored on dedicated servers of our infrastructure provider and isolated per account. The memory server address is https://mcp.mmwhub.tech/mcp.
